(Wallpapers!) Tilt-Shift
Blog #16 (It is what it is… and isn’t)
So here you go, this is the second time I’m sharing a bunch of wallpapers here and this time all of them are gonna be tilt-shit.
So what is tilt-shift?
Photographers will tell you about the tilt-shift lens which does exactly that, it tilts and it shifts! More info here and here. Using this feature you could control the lines in the photographs you take, or even add an effect where the focus can be set such that the subject of the image seems to be miniaturized. Now that makes for some really awesome images!
Photoshop guys know it as a blur effect that can be added to a normal picture to achieve the miniaturization effect (which is, as some would call it, a fake tilt shift, which is impressive nonetheless). A little bit of saturation is also increased in a few cases to add a plastic-toy-like effect to the miniaturization. Either way, what we get, makes for some really awesome wallpapers!
Have fun!
